Nature-based Therapy
Beyond four walls, with nothing but sky above, we may begin to see ourselves in a new light — not alone, but interconnected. Sunlight, pinecone, river, chickadee, companions in this open world of healing Nature.
Some things surface easier outside four walls
There's something about being outdoors — the nervous system settles, the mind loosens its grip, and things that felt stuck “inside” start to move and shift when outside. Nature-based therapy takes the same clinical depth as our indoor work and brings it into Calgary's parks and green spaces.
This isn't a walk with some casual conversation layered on top. It's real therapeutic work — a mix of walking, sitting, and experiential practice, shaped by what you need that day.
Who this is for:
People who find it hard to open up in typical indoor counselling settings
Anyone who thinks and feels more freely out in the open, or while moving
Those drawn to a land-based, culturally grounded approach to healing
Clients working through trauma, grief, or life transitions who want an alternative entry point into the work
How we work:
Sessions take place in Calgary's beautiful city and provincial parks, chosen based on your location and comfort. No experience in nature required — just a willingness to show up. Indoor sessions remain available any time the weather, or you, need it.
1 hour: $200 | 1.5 hours: $300
Available most weekdays, some weekend evenings. Parks suggested based on your location and needs.
