Grief Counselling

There's no timeline for this

Grief doesn't move in a straight line. It takes its own path, and its own time.

It isn't only about death — grief can be the loss of a relationship, a role, a version of your life you thought you'd have. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to explain it to justify needing support.

Our grief counselling isn't about "getting over it" or moving through stages on schedule. It's about making room for what you're carrying, understanding the context and history behind it, and finding a way to keep living alongside the loss — not despite it.

Grief doesn't follow a schedule, and it looks different for every person that grieves.

Maybe it's been months or years and you still feel it out of nowhere. Maybe you haven't cried the way you thought you would, and that's made you wonder if something's wrong with you. Maybe the loss wasn't even one most people would recognize — a relationship, a version of your life, a future you'd been counting on — but it's changed everything just the same.

None of that means you're grieving wrong. There's no timeline you're supposed to be keeping to, and no finish line where the loss stops mattering. Grief isn't something you get over — it's something you learn to carry differently, until it becomes part of how you move through the world rather than something standing in your way.

You don't need to justify the size of your loss to deserve support with it. Whatever brought you here is enough reason to be here.
