I believe people are naturally good. But I also understand that tough or painful experiences can affect how we see ourselves, others, and the world, and that these experiences can sometimes lead to hurtful thoughts, feelings, or behaviours. These reactions don’t define who you really are. They’re often ways you, I, and everyone else have learned to cope.
My goal is to help you reconnect with your real self, the part of you that might feel hidden or buried under everything you’ve been through.
I use approaches that are proven to help, like retelling your story (Narrative Therapy), learning how your thoughts affect your feelings and actions (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood (Person-Centered Therapy).

I see people as a whole. This means your mind, emotions, body, sense of meaning, and relationships all matter. Everything you’ve been through shapes who you are. Together, We’ll stay open and curious about your experiences so we can better understand your inner world. This can help you grow, see and feel things in new ways, and feel more like yourself.
I aim to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. With empathy and care, I want to help you build confidence, discover your strengths, and make changes that matter to you so you can live a life that feels right.
I also adapt to what works best for you. Our sessions might include talking through your experiences, working through tough emotions or thoughts, or trying specific techniques with your input and agreement.

I’ve had a lot of different life experiences. I’ve worked as a firefighter and bouncer, supported adults with disabilities and high-risk youth, earned my Master’s in Counselling from Gonzaga University, and helped develop and run a new program for addiction treatment - New Leaf Holistic Recovery.
Even though my background is diverse, one thing has always stayed the same: my ability to genuinely connect with people, no matter where they come from or what they’ve been through. From these past experiences and through today, I feel grateful for the chance to create a space where people can just be real and present. This is where meaningful change can happen naturally.
I am passionate about helping my clients to create lives that represent who they truly are.
